I sensed some sarcasm in your comment above. Speaking for myself, in my 20s, I wouldn't have been thinking about kids, I would've ordered vodka martinis at an open bar, my ipod was newer, I would've rather been out partying than watching Netflix Instant, I didn't have cable so I didn't watch Bravo shows, my workout bras were new, and I didn't take an interest in Us Weekly, ever. I was paying off my student loans in my 20s (now I'm deferring them which I feel super guilty about) and I lightly stalk my exes instead of checking up on them all the time like a psycho as I did when I was younger.
I've never been in my 40s so I can't comment on that!
At 34 I guess I am still living with one foot in my 20's. This is only semi-relatable to me. I was + am doing the same with my school loans but that martini you spoke of sounds great right now.
This is funny as hell!! I would say you are pretty accurate. Who cares what 'Anonymous' thinks. I just turned 34 and most of these apply to me!!Thanks for the laugh!!
Interesting. And it prompts a question from me, as a guy, about the kids thing, but I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post it in, if the other "open question" thread is the better place, or if I should just avoid asking it altogether.
Bingo!!! I'm 39 and one square away from winning the cover all. I've never left a comment before, but want to let you know I love your blog and think you are hilarious! -Jen

yeah, those are totally different than qualities of women in their 20s and 40s.
Hahaha... offensive, but that's the point, isn't it?
